He has lots of titles.
Modern Sampson.
The law.
Legend.
Deputy Marshal.
Friend and bodyguard of Joseph Smith.
A Utah Territory lawman.
Old/Ole Port.
The Destroying Angel of Mormondom.
Let people call Orrin Porter Rockwell what they will.
Above all his subtitles and wild west shenanigans, he was true and faithful to his covenants, the restored Church of Jesus Christ, and the Lord’s anointed prophets.
I straight up love Porter!
Today at Untoalltheworld, I share this powerful posting (it’s about an hour long). Besides your scripture study and sweet service, this will – no doubt – be one of the best spent hours of your day.
If I was a betting woman, I’d wager on that.
Unto all the world: Like Porter Rockwell, may we be true and faithful and die with our boots on!

This was such a fun video! I’ve read the book about Porter Rockwell, which was delightful to read, but I learned other new things here. I’m going to share this with our Family Home Evening group. 🙂
LaDawn,
As always, thanks for reading/listening. Weren’t they great stories? Many of them I did not know. Love that man.
Love you, too.
