I like the Charlie Kirk talk show and on occasion when I’m driving, I get the privilege of listening to him. Today he had Pastor McArthur on his show and they were discussing the war on children. They both said some powerful things and spoke of tragic truths in our demoralizing society.
They talked for a moment about the secularization of America and the destruction and removal of moral values. Kirk said in his opinion, secularization leads to satanism. McArthur took the position that our society is satanized more than it is secularized and gave horrific evidence of our children being offered up to all kinds of Gods, except the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I guess, using Kirk’s connection, we can pretty safely assume we’ve gone beyond secularization and indeed have too many Americans who promote and bolster satanism and satanic ways.
Why else would we kill a million or so babies a year via abortion in this country? Somebody tell me, why else?
McArthur is right: too many worship “the God of self, the God of sin, and the God of independence.” I raise my voice as an unashamed Christian today to denounce the evil of abortion.
For any who are, perchance, starting down the gun’s barrel of abortion, I beg of you to forebear pulling this trigger. Though there are very limited exceptions (the church – as well as I – recognize those exclusions), abortion is generally a very selfish act. It is not pro-choice. It is poor choice. It is not your right to terminate a life when yours was itself saved. Pregnancy (rape and incest aside) is a choice, and choices have consequences. Again, excluding rape and incest, your choice was made when you chose to engage in the act that led to conception.
If you are unprepared or unwilling to accept the consequences of your choice, there are waiting and willing arms who would love to mother your baby. Do the right thing. Keep yourself from being barred by the prison of a very heinous crime, one that is incurring the wrath of our God on this nation and on us as a people.
I beg of you, let the merciless pain of a voiceless, unborn, innocent baby move you in the direction of right. Give up instead of give in. You will regret less giving your child up than giving your child no chance.
Besides, all children are not ours in the first place; they are on loan to humans from a very generous God. They are first His masterful creation and second, our blessing. Do not destroy what you alone did not create.
You do not have that right.
As our society continues to spiral downward in morals and values, as too many continue to forsake Judeo-Christian values that founded this nation and righted our ship as it went along, as children continue to be murdered and sacrificed to Gods of Baal, as Satan has his throat grip on too many, be comforted in knowing that there will come a day when all this darkness will be overcome and overruled by the King of Kings whose right it is to take the reigns and cast diabolical ways and perpetrators forever away!
Come Jesus, come!
Until then, these beautiful, innocent ones who are reflections of all that is right and good and lovely in human form are, in the words of McArthur, “rescued” by God when they die at the selfish and cruel hands of those who think they have a right to slaughter them. God receives them back home, and they are saved through the Atonement of His Son, escaping (albeit through a horrible death) what Joseph Smith called “a very wicked world…the envy of man, and the sorrows and evils of this present world…” (Mathews, M., “The Salvation of Little Children Who Die: What We Do and Don’t Know).
For the love of God, for the joy of human life, for the hope of this nation, to stay the hand of a very offended God, and for the chance at life our unborn children deserve, choose pro-life.
Unto all the world: From one who would give her life to cradle your baby, I beg of you.
One response to “I Beg of You”
So hard to understand how people justify harming or killing babies and children! Such depravity! So sad
